Happy 4th of July

Adair has a local parade. Robin and her friend rode on the trailer throwing candy.

Ann Marie rode her decorated bike behind the firetruck.

This is a photo of the flags they were handing out, which I submitted to the Fail Blog. Also fail worthy: our community of 900 had three police cruisers and one bicycle officer directing traffic. What next? A standing army?

Great to see patriotic grandkids. I'm flying my flag tomorrow after I check to see if it was made in the USA by union labor. :-)

where was the candy made?
Mountain Home parades sometimes included tanks from the Boise national guard that would tear up the pavement cutting cookies. Medford had a PT cruiser club that would take up space in the parade.
