Happy Birthday to a Teenager!

Rachel has attained the venerable title of "teenager".

Of course, if we went by my proposed numbering system, she would have been a teenager two years ago, when she was oneteen. She would now be threeteen. Next year she would be fourteen. Get it?

Among other presents were a nice comforter (http://thepleasantlandofcounterpane.blogspot.com/2008/07/black-sheets.html) and a Doctor Who sonic screwdriver.

She is maturing into a beautiful young woman, and we are proud of her!

A screwdriver? Did she want a screwdriver?

I agree, she's fast becoming a lovely young woman. We're proud of her too and see great potential in her.

Love,

Grandma

Oh, not just a screw driver. A sonic screwdriver. Like Doctor Who uses. It makes the same electronic sound is actually a pen that will write with UV visible ink. There is a UV light on the end.

Both Robin and Ann Marie have told me multiple times that that is what they want for their birthdays! I'm sure the novelty will have worn off by then.
